Stunningly haunting! Have never read a graphic novel with no words so that was interesting.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
LOVED the art, but my lack of knowledge of ancient gods seems to have hindered my enjoyment of this.

endlessly fascinating, it did feel very “self help” at times.

Once again, the art carries this series.

Didn't like this one as much as the first. The pacing seemed to be off in this one as well.

Firstly, the art style is absolutely STUNNING, like wow it looked like anime stills. There were some realistic problems depicted which I thought were handled well. What I didn't find believable were the dynamics of some characters.

This book I knew would be made for me, and I wasn't wrong! So much heart and life. The characters felt so real and flawed and beautiful. More older queer characters in fiction please! Albert is like if Ove from "A Man Called Ove" slayed. The only thing I didn't care for was some of the side character backstory, but otherwise a fantastic read.
