Fearing the Black Body: The Racial Origins of Fat Phobia by Sabrina Strings

The historical approach is eye-opening, but I think I'd have appreciated this book more if it drew more parallels with the present, or shown more of the current impact racism has on black bodies and AFAB bodies. Would still recommend it, though, especially to health care workers who want to deconstruct their bias.

Fir a romcom, I didn't care much for the main couple. However, the family and the insights into Chinese culture were great. I loved the way this explored grief.

Some stories are good. Some are incomprehensible. I know I liked some but I can't remember them at all.
Easy to read though and it has lively artwork.
