This was the first book that has ever made me cry. I loved it so much. I loved the characters, I loved their friendships, and I loved the ending. It made me so happy.

I think it does a great job depicting different family relationships and different aspects of growing up during a religious revolution that I didn’t understand before. I truly enjoyed this book.

I absolutely love this book. It the story, the characters, and the art style are just all so beautiful. Even though the different "timelines" aren't specifically labeled, the author does such a great job of using different monochromatic color schemes to differentiate them. Blue for the fairytales, pink for the current timeline, and yellow for the past. The story is so wholesome and sweet. I really liked how the author added Vietnamese culture to Western fairytales. The characters and setting are just so beautifully drawn and this has one of the best art styles in any graphic novel. I hope that everyone reads this. I can't recommend this enough.

This book manages to be just as dark and creepy as the books before it. I actually really enjoyed the lack of explanations and how it allows the reader to interpret their own story. The artwork is just so amazing and detailed. The longer I look at each page, the more things I can find in each panel.

I love this story and these characters. I've grow so attached to them and I truly care about them, as much as you can care about fictional characters. The story is interesting, funny, and I found the little twists to work super well. My only complaint is it was a kind of slow start.

Umm, it was okay. I wish it was more fever-dreamy, though. I didn't really get much out of this book.

The "main" mystery was never really solved or at least it wasn't made important enough for me to remember reading the "solution". The plot was incredibly chaotic and disjointed. I feel like since the first book, the effort put into each book has gone down greatly.

What the actual fuck did I just read? Ignoring the lack of plot advancement and lack of character depth, the women in this book are so overly sexualized and objectified. It actually horrible. I got to page 60 and had to read about a women “jiggling her way around” and it only when straight down from there. Like actually what the fuck. I really wanted to like this book, but it was so bad.

The first half of this book was really slow and I had to deal with
Jace being an immature, controlling, little bitch and Clary being an annoying, naive little kid, but they both definitely had a lot of character growth in the last half. And, yay, no more incest. Hopefully? I swear to god if this lady adds any more incest to these books I’m gonna freak.

Each individual poem did such a good job of telling the story. Each piece connected together so well. It was passionate, interesting, and emotional. I loved it.
