This was a beautiful and eye opening read. It's a wonderful way to reexamine and reaffirm your relationship with the land you depend on and love.

The plot was pretty engaging, if slightly 'off-brand Pratchett', but the writing itself kind of screamed "I was written by a man in the 1980s".

This was a solid 3/5 stars. I do like that it’s a murder mystery set in space, but it didn’t really  grab my attention.

Some of the ideas in the book are interesting, like the metavirus and the Sumerian stuff, but Snow Crash is definitely worse than when I read it at age 14.
