I loved these books as a kid so I picked this one up on Pango to revisit it and also add it to my collection. I didn't realize how long this series is so I'm looking forward to keeping my eye out for others in this series and reading those as well!

Oof, this book was not for me. I do see value in the subject matter but it was SO DARK. I wasn't overly engaged because all of the different characters had me a little lost and I didn't really like any of them. I am interested to see how the book club discussion will play out on this one because I could see myself getting a different perspective of the book but I don't know that it'll change my rating.

This was more like a 2.5 than a 3 for me, but also, it's not the type of book I was looking for right now and I think that's okay! I'm looking forward to discussing it with others to see if there's anything I missed.

Continuing my re-read of this series but this time introduced an audiobook. Listening to these while I'm doing chores around the house is super enjoyable and helps me to power through them.

Looking forward to the next one!!

I think I read this book in 4th grade and I remember it being a big deal that my friend ruined it for me that Sal's mom was dead. Listening to this book almost 20 years later, I realized that that information is not as much of a mystery when reading as I remembered!

I 100% suggest re-reading your favorite books from when you were a child!

I liked the second book better, my library loan ran out, and I lost interest :(

No author gets me like Casey McQuiston. I never fall in love with characters more than I do with their books.

This is their spiciest book yet but amid all the spice is so much emotion and so many beautifully written pieces. I highlighted so much of this book because I couldn’t help myself.

One Last Stop is still my favorite and I really teetered between a 4 & 5 for this book. Going 4.5 rounded up to 5 because I liked the ending 🫶🏻

Read this if you loved Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of this book!!

This book was super cute! It gave a quick, concise, and kid-friendly timeline of Taylor's rise to fame. This book is current, and leads you all the way through the end of 2023. I'd definitely buy it for any young Swiftie!

This is a very specific book for a very specific time in life. It's chaotic, it's stressful, it's outlandish, but I also could understand the feeling for the most part. I also want to note that this book was not written for me as a straight white woman, and there are going to be portions that do not resonate with me and that is fine.

In the afterward by Caldwell, she writes, "As one reviewer in Weird Sister said, 'Women Isn't About Anything and It's About Everything."' and I could not agree more.
