All Systems Red by Martha Wells

I wasn't expecting this to be as character driven as it was. It was a happy surprise because murderbot is so relatable.
King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard

Still enjoyed this like I did the first time I read it. Now onto War Storm (may the universe help me with this finale 😅)
The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami

Read it in one sitting, but I definitely need to read it a couple more times to gather my thoughts on this interesting tale.
The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman

I liked this book, and I want to read the next book in the series. But, I'm still processing my thoughts to write an actual review for this book.
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

I didn't realize how long it actually took to get into the arena in this book. For some reason I felt like the games lasted longer the when I first read this years ago.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

I literally just got done with finals and the fact that I was still able to finish this book throughout hell week is honestly impressive. I do want to do a full review, but I need a few days so I can do this book justice.
The Wolves of Winter by Tyrell Johnson

This was a really quick read for me. The environment was well built and the post-apocalyptic world definitely gave me those winter surviving instincts. The story was more about a family having to survive in the Yukon rather than focusing on the destroyed world. It reminded me a lot of the game The Long Dark, which was what I was in the mood to read so it worked out.
This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab

I really enjoyed this story!! I now feel like I want to read all of Schwab's books. For me August and Kate were the driving force of this story. They were just so different from each other (yet so understandable), and then their friendship was just amazing!
Whew, I can't even explain how much I liked those two, so I'm gonna leave it at this was a good book.

The Stars We Steal by Alexa Donne

Finished the audiobook while I worked on final art projects. It was a decent story though I found it a bit predictable. But, that actually was why I found it a good story to listen to while I worked on projects. It was hard to get lost on what the plot was doing. I think this would be a good book for younger readers who are starting to get into the YA genre.
Geekerella by Ashley Poston

Hits all the beats of the Disney version of Cinderella. I liked that it was faithful while also fleshing out a few of the characters to be different than their original counterparts. But, obviously because it was so faithful it was predictable, this story is definitely one we all know but the icing on the cake is a different color. It was good to zone out to while working on my finals.
