I went into this book with sort of high expectations and let me tell you they were met!! The character dynamics were wonderful and the chemistry between Nolan and Mallory was so amazing! He was so sweet and charming I loved every scene with him in it! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a rivals to lovers that’s more “rivals and lovers”.

Literally obsessed with this omg!! I loved everything about it from the amazing characters to the very interesting magic system. I absolutely love Verick he is such a gentleman and so sweet! Not to mention super hot!!!! Art’s skill development throughout the book was so cool I loved how that all played out. The ending had me on the verge of tears in front of my family but I still loved it so much!!!

This was an amazing book that I’d really recommend particularly to white women. I learned a lot including new ideas and adding to things I had previous knowledge of. I wanted to read this book to better understand my own privilege and how that plays a role in my job as a feminist. I am definitely going to take what I learned and apply it to my life in understanding the depth of feminism and what I need to do to support everyone.

This book was very informative and really changed my perspective on how I view myself and others. I’m really glad i decided to pick it up. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who may be neurodivergent who is looking to understand masking and methods to try to unmask. It’s also really good if you are just looking for more resources to understanding autism whether it’s you or a loved one who has it. A great read and the audiobook is excellent and narrated by the author which I always love!!!

found it boring and some of the scenes dragged on a bit. liked the overall premise and it would be amazing with a film adaptation

LOVED this book and I’m so excited to see the movie (hopefully) this week. Of course I had to read it before watching the movie like I did with the original Hunger Games trilogy. I remember speeding through Mockingjay so excited to finally be able to watch the movies. Such a good book and a beautiful way to portray the complexity of Snow’s character and how his mind works.
