It was a quick read for me , I had to read it for school. It wasn't bad but it didn't make me want to read the quartet of the giver. There was some good points but you really had to go back in the book to get some of the importants part of the story. Though I did enjoy the writing style it didn't hook me, as some books that I previously read had. If your looking for a nice and quick read you shoud look for this book, but I wouldn't read it again.
