Sick Simon by Dan Krall

This is a HILARIOUS book about the spreading of germs amongst kids. Simon pretty much goes about his day as usual without realizing that he's getting everyone sick. I loved the artwork. It was truly beautiful and the story line was hilarious.

This definitely a darker manga than what I'm used to, but it was really good and after trying out the first in the series through the library I'm really interested in actually purchasing the series. If you're interested in something that has a lot of action with a weird twist then I would definitely recommend this.

I devoured this book so quickly and it was well worth it. Oh my goodness. The tears that came down while reading this book were incredible. I loved the writing and I loved the character development. It was such a heart-breaking tale filled with self discovery, forgiveness, and redemption. I loved every minute of it and definitely will check out some more of Kristin Hannah's works. Full review to come.

This book was definitely more creepy than I expected, but it was decent. I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style, but I like how Hendrix incorporated different elements into his book. If your looking for something interesting to read after Hendrix's other works I would recommend this book.

Soooo much better than the first volume. I think this world has potential to be extremely creepy and definitely makes me more interested in checking out the rest of the series. It was nice to get know the background of each character and how their personalities affect their present decisions. The artwork is marvelous and I can't wait to get my hands on the next volume.

Update! Here's my full review: http://www.bookishrealmreviews.com/2016/08/food-wars-shokugeki-no-soma-vol-8-10-by.html

I love that we know are moving into the quarter finals of the tournament and Soma's partner is super interesting!! I do think I'm ready for a different story arc, but it was a good addition to the series. Hopefully by the time I finish volume 10 I can do a full series review.

This was so freaking amazing. I didn't care that it was all in black and white and I think that's because I'm used to reading manga in black and white. The story line is amazing and you never know where it's going to go simply because the characters are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. I mean I gave no idea what I would do in their situation. I definitely would lose my mind. The story is intricate and follows several different characters as they try to band together to fight the humans who have turned into the walking dead. I loved the artwork and where the story is headed. I also love that you almost can't trust anyone because they can turn on you at any moment. That ending had me thinking about where the next issues are going to take the characters as they try to survive the mess their world has become. I definitely will be checking out the series adaptation of this book as well.
