Just wasn’t that interested in any of the characters. Felt similar to other Italian literature I’ve read.. I can’t compare to Ferrante, but felt like a more basic version of something de Cespedes would write.

The writing feels very elementary and uses a lot of basic phrases often found in these sorts of mysteries. Felt a tad cheesy. I also was often confused with scenes that ended abruptly or with actions/character movements that weren’t fully explained.
