I really wanted to love this because I love Heartstopper and I love Tori in Heartstopper, but I couldn’t. I realize this book was written first, so maybe Oseman would do things differently if given the chance? Idk but Tori is severely depressed and suicidal and needs professional help and it was never brought up, never mentioned. And for that reason alone, I cannot rate this book any higher than 2 stars.
Graphic: Eating disorder, Homophobia, Mental illness, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempt, and Fire/Fire injury
