What a poignant ending.

I listened to the audiobook version of this and didn't realize it was going to be the last volume of the series. I'm sad that the ride is over, but this was the best ending to a long book series that I've seen. Everything made sense, even if it was sad.

If it wasn't for the epilogue, it would have been too sad an ending, really. I'm glad that was added.

I can see why Amazon pulled the plug now, though. There's no way to conclude the story in a meaningful way without Alex.
