Very good, not really as “murder mystery” as I’d hoped but still held my attention. Love the idea of animals being the characters!

I was going to give this book 2 stars, but the last chapter managed to bump it up to 3. I just think that this is a really basic book regarding feminist issues, and while the author is clearly tired of people capatalizing off of witches and capitalism, it kind of feels like that is what is happening here, as the idea of witches kind of fades to the background for a lot of the book. The last chapter, about medicine, was very informative and I personally found it very informative and an important issue that I still do not see in a lot of recent literature.
