Angelfall by Susan Ee

Just wanted to finish something to cheer myself up and well this book was a nice distraction from that anyway this was a fairly quick read a post-apocalyptic world with angels and it's actually a great start to a trilogy well apparently this was meant to be a series of 5 books but it wound up becoming a trilogy instead but anyway there where times where I wound up laughing while reading this and very few books have made me do that so kudos to the author for that.
Overall it was a good book and I now understand why people keep going on about it.

World After by Susan Ee

So I tried to pace myself with this book but well things have gotten more sinister in World After and unfortunately poor Paige gets kidnapped again but we're introduced to Burnt the new antagonist but I tell you what one thing I wasn't expecting was Paige fighting back near the end and oh boy does Burnt die spectacularly! I did enjoy how he died and well he had it coming.
But as normal Penryn's mother is still bat-shit crazy but at least she disappears for bit which is nice but the humor was in this book which kept things balanced and I'll be refraining from "End of Days" until a later date but at least Penryn and Raffe are back together now so I am pleased. This is a fantastic sequel if you haven't read "Angelfall" what are you doing read it now!

This is one of those times where I want to stare at a wall and wonder what the fuck am I going to with myself now that this trilogy is over...And it ended in a full circle remember in Angelfall when Raffe lost his wings well guess what by the end of this book he doesn't have his wings again but hey at least he stayed with Penryn even though he made a deal and lost his wings again kudos to you Raffe and Pookey Bear still doesn't trust him still due to being in Penryn's possession for so long I am not surprised by that at all actually.
I need more post-apocolyptic angel books in my life now thanks Susan Ee for that seriously you've got me addicted to the genre well done there...Sorry I'm gushing here but seriously this was a mix of happiness and sadness and I had a hard time forcing myself to put it down.

I'll make this very clear America Singer isn't a bad character considering her age I'm not surprised how she's dealing with her situations that she's having to face she's still young and she's bound to make mistakes.
Now as the sequel begins we learn that America is now a "Elite" her and five others are still in for a chance to win Maxon's heart and I enjoyed reading this also I enjoyed this book so much, as a sequel is does a good job and I'm enjoying America Singer's development as a character like I said she's having to learn fast so as as expected she's bound to make stupid decisions.
This is a good book despite people complaining about the main character but honestly it is a good book.

Unpopular opinion but I enjoyed how this trilogy ended and if you actually look past America Singer's actions and take into account her age you will notice that she does develop throughout the books and of course that's one of the reasons why I stuck with this trilogy I went into this book expecting America to do stupid things but in the end she has deal with her father dying so we get to see how she deals with that and it was a nice twist as it meant she now had to cope with loss of a family member and also she actually defends someone because they where worse off then she was and I praise her for doing so.
This trilogy ended on a good note despite her and Aspen just being friends and don't judge this trilogy just because the main character does stupid things she grows and develops through each book and that's why I enjoyed reading them.
Let that sink in for a few minutes.

The Heir by Kiera Cass
4.0
My proper rating is 3.5 stars.
Now lets begin...The Heir is set 20 years after America Singer's story ended and now it's Eadlyn's time to have her own Selection and amazing she has no interest in it or ever having a love-interest her brothers already have suitors but she however does not.
This time round we see the selection from a different view instead of being a contender we are infact the ones who are hosting it which was a nice twist and what I love about Eadlyn is she's a anti-social introvert and hates meeting random strangers I like her for that because I hate it as well.
Lets just say the ending caught me off guard as America has something happened and well we're left not knowing if she'll survive until the final book...
Overall I enjoyed this book it was a fast read and kudos to Eadlyn she has a bit of a arc through this book and this is why I love the Selection series if you look close enough you will see character development.

Put it simply I couldn't put this book down since I began reading it late yesterday but holy shit does Juliette go through a load of character development in this book and I kind of feel sorry for Warner now oh yeah last book we learn his real name but in this book oh my god there's one hell of a plot twist that I didn't see coming.
I'm satisfied with how this ended but I have more respect for Warner now that's for sure and I nearly cried in public thanks to this book and not many books make me do that.
