Four people are working separately while seated near each other in the Boston Public Library when they hear a deafening scream. This scream is the catalyst for their newfound friendship. When a dead body is discovered shortly after, their friendship takes some interesting turns. There were two storylines that were delivered in 2 very different ways which made for an interesting story overall.

Interesting story but a bit laborious to get through. Lots of characters and storylines to follow. Enjoyed the cultural notes and insight. Enjoyed the author narration. Might have liked this more had I read it at a different time.

Love how Joe’s relationship with Sheridan has grown with her coming into adulthood. Also love her relationship with Nate. Nate was too funny in this book.

I really enjoy the Kilts & Quilts series. A go to favorite for a good read with lots of laughs. This was a fun, quick little romance with a lot of sass.
