This book was highly recommended (via Amazon reviews) so I wasted no time grabbing it. I was not disappointed, it was an amazing read although if you’re not one for taboo, age gap, forbidden then this won’t be for you.
Penelope is Jack’s somewhat niece though the line is grey it’s implied.

“You’re my anchor, jack. You tether me to reality when I’m drifting away in a sea of desolation.”

The only reason I gave it four stars was because I felt the ending was very rushed. I wished it would have sprawled out more.

Where to begin.

I read the first book directly before this as I received an arc copy for society of psychos, so instead of living for the cliffhanger I was able to continue like flipping a chapter.

In all honesty I liked the first book better, the second I felt like dragged out but that could just be me and the fact that I read both back to back.
Personally I didn’t like Niall’s character and internally groaned every-time his chapter came up.
However I lived for Mateo’s character and later Jacks.

With that being said, Brooklyn gives me Harley Quinn vibes so I stuck with it to the end and in general enjoyed the overall storyline.

If you’re into fast paced, twisted interesting reads and enjoyed the first book this one’s a great read too!

Okay, hello
This is a first read for me from the author, I wasn’t quite sure what I was jumping into but I can say I wasn’t disappointed. The storyline is defiantly intriguing, I cannot wait to see where this leads.

“Even the beast could get the beauty … he just had to take her.”

Jenika blew my mind once again, I think this is the third book I’ve read by her and can’t get enough. Kostya’s broken past certainly has me in all the right feels.
Mafia romance has a big soft spot in my heart and I was thrilled to have the chance to receive an arc for an honest review.

Anastasia is a Russian mafia princess and Kostya is just a disposable solider working for the bratva. After years of separation Kostya snaps when he finds her being married off to a man with Ill intentions. (Not that any man would matter.)

“Yeah,” he groaned. “There it is.” His voice was husky and low. “That fire I remember so we’ll from all those years ago.”

The spice is up there, I feel like it’s more of a feeling and Ruin certainly had me feeling

I cannot get enough of this series. What a way to end it with such a strong character.
