Hands down one of the creepiest books I’ve read. There are so many moments that just give you the heebie jeebies! And the end…what the actual heck! Not okay! So, I loved it and if you want to be creeped out completely you should read it too!

I liked this one better than the first! It was a little slow to start, but then everything just goes crazy! The end was equally interesting and heartbreaking. Very interested in how the trilogy will end.

I was so excited for this Pendergast book…the last installment ended in such a cliffhanger! It was very good for the most part. I found a couple parts to be a little too underwhelming, but overall it was a crazy ride (as usual)…and definitely worth the read!

Sufficiently creepy…many plot developments. Kinda gross at times with skin crawling moments. Overall, a great read. The end was interesting.

Interesting story. The plot was good and the characters were well done, but the end was a little too abrupt for me.

Sadly, I watched the movie before reading this book (in my defense, I didn’t choose the movie and was unaware it was a book first 🤣). I wasn’t a fan. Then I heard the book was good…so, I gave it a try. SO MUCH BETTER! The book is way creepier! I just wish the ending had a bit more…

Many good twists and turns! Loved how “what really happened” got slowly doled out to you every other chapter. The ending was satisfying.

A solid sequel. The first book was definitely better, but this one had some creepy moments. I find the mob mentality scary!

Okay…this book is conflicting. On one hand, super creepy and interesting. On the other, lacking in details and the end was anticlimactic. Overall, just alright.
