It took me a minute, but I see why everyone adores this book. It is truly a slice of life and pretends to be nothing else. The writing style is beautiful and the characters are simultaneously simple and complex - all of their decisions are understandable and all of their decisions are so deeply human. I felt transported while reading this book, watching an alternative timeline of what the world could be. Absolutely loved it, 5/5 ⭐️

This is some good, queer, disability, ice-based fun. I was enamored with the characters from the beginning. It reads like a well-betaed fanfic and I enjoyed every moment of reading it.
