This is my second time reading through this series and I’ve always kept it close to my heart, but definitely forgot about just how amazing it is! I’m going through a darkness and the laughs I’m getting from this series (especially my granddaddy Mr. Ollie) are just what I need! Zach and Maali are my babies. From the approach to their unconventional marriage to the way genuine love bloomed between them even in hardships. I loved every minute and it was even better the second time around!

I love love LOVED this book!!! This is my second time reading it and I still love and laughed myself to tears all over again! With Ashley releasing book 4 of the series I wanted to refresh myself on everything I loved about Preto. My grandpa (Mr.Ollie) is still the best thing about the town! I love me some him!

Jaq and Symona were both headstrong, determined, deserving and PETTY! LOL You never won attempting to run from a destined love. They were young but they had it all within them. I enjoyed their story.

When it came to Samia, Axel played NO GAMES! That man was willing to flip all this ish over behind her! You couldn’t help but love it and at some instances, even laugh at it. AP drug me through it with this book! The subplot is subplotting and I’m ready for EVERYBODY to get dealt with!

Book one of this series had me anxious to read book 2! This was good! The main story was beautiful. Naji and Syrenna deserve all the good and perfect things coming to them. They sacrificed so much for so for so many people! All this involved in the sub-story can report to the deepest recesses of hell and stay there. On to book 2!

When I say this book took me through the gauntlet of emotions, it TOOK ME THROUGH! I was happy and rooting one minute, then ready to fight and cuss the next! The book didn’t end on a cliffhanger necessarily, but I have SOOOOO many questions and speculations for the next episode!

I enjoyed the book. Lawrence was all around trash, in my opinion. Reid deserved better (from both) and Zora nosey ass almost ruined it all.

.This was a cute story. I didn’t expect it to end up the way it did and neither did Rory and Kamryn. Yet it turned out beautifully. Loved them!

Jamie & Nyx came into each others lives and unknowingly flipped each others worlds on their axis (in the best possible way). I loved the banter between the two. They both deserved happiness and I enjoyed they both finally believing that and seeking it out for themselves.

Asante has been guarded and protecting her heart for years, then enters Isaac. Determined and locked in on who he believes is for him and worth fighting for. Asante was tough to crack, but Isaac showed up and was patient  and present for her and her daughter. Beautiful story.
