Holy cannoli, what a fucking ride!!

Iโ€™ve thoroughly enjoyed The Exodus series, but this has to be hands down my favorite read so far. Jaxon and Dahlia are everything, and I loved how absolutely unhinged and possessive he was of her.

- taboo romance (half siblings)
- secret society
- plus size + mental health rep
- obsessive + possessive morally grey MMC
- hurt x comfort
- virgin MCs

They could never make me like you, Margot. NEVER.

I would like to return to a time when I did not read this tbh, because literally all of Margot's problems could have been solved by calling the cops.

Ray moves to Boston from Montreal to attend university, and hopes that time and distance away from their family to find themselves. There he meet Jordie, another student who is openly gender queer, who helps them through processing his gender identity (demiboy) and pronouns, and the pair just so happen to fall in love along the way.

Ray and Jordie's story was sweet with very little angst, and was a perfect addition to the Diner Days series!

Torn on whether to rate this 3 or 4 stars ๐Ÿ˜…

Honestly, Perfectly Imperfect Pixie was not at all what I expected. Thereโ€™s little to no romance and zero smut, which isnโ€™t a bad thing at all, as the plot kept me hooked. & all in all was just a super sweet read!

Contemplating reading Peachesโ€™s story, as I really liked his character.

Haunted Ever After is an adorable cozy small town romance set in kitschy Boneyard Key, dubbed the most haunted small town in Florida, where ghostly roommates and haunted homes are the norm, and was honestly the perfect way to start off my Spooky Season reads!

The book follows Cassie, who hightails it out of Orlando to Boneyard Key after all her friends seem to leave her behind to get married and have kids. There she meets Nick, owner of the local coffee shop Hallowed Grounds, who takes her on ghost tours and gives her the rundown on the locals and the town in the hopes that sheโ€™ll fall in love with it (and him).

It was cute, a little spooky, and just gave me all the feel goods!

The Seasons of Change series continues with Brandon and Andrew, two idiot besties who are both in love with each other but too scared to admit it because neither of them wants to ruin their lifelong friendship. After a break up one too many, lines blur between the besties, but will it ruin everything?

I absolutely wanted to strangle Brandon, even though I understood his hesitancy about being with Andrew and what it would do to their friendship, but he made me want to scream. Andrew didn't deserve to be anyone's secret, and I'm so glad these two worked out their issues and got their happy ending.

Can't wait for more of this series!

- fake dating
- opposites attract
- sex worker + farmer
- second chance romance
- hurt/comfort
- age gap

Beau, ever the big brother, puts everyone's needs above his own, but who looks out for Beau and puts him first? Honestly, poor Beau about broke my heart. Then he meets Trevor, the overly cautious sex worker who he hires as his date for his sister's wedding, and they fall so hard and fast for each other. They were honestly so perfect, and their story was so sweet and steamy, but god did it make my heart ache.

Seriously, there's just something about the way Maya writes that sucks you in and kicks your ass emotionally.
