It’s an understatement to call this book perfect,
that’s what it is, A perfect book.
The secret history teared my heart into pieces and i fear that it will never heal, i fear that i will never come across a book as impactful and terrifyingly beautiful as this one.
“Beauty is rarely soft or consolatory, Quite the contrary. Genuine Beauty is always alarming”
The Secret history is far from soft nor consolatory, it’s terror in its pure form, the true essence of our being that we fear to face, the reality of just how horrible we are. Showing how we all join in the descend towards madness. Death is the mother of beauty, and what is beauty ? Terror.
