Such a fun scifi romance! With it being a novella I wasn’t sure what to expect other than some spice, but I was hooked to the story. I would love to get more novellas in this world because it was so fun like I need to know more about the Cloud! On top of some fun android/human spice there was also a mystery to be solved! I also love the scifi elements, it’s so fun to read about what others imagine the world will become.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Lela and D, it happened all pretty quickly but didn’t feel rushed. Riley did a great job and making it not feel instalovey and like a long term  crush! The way it developed and they couldn’t fight it was just so cute! And that epilogue was too much for my heart.

Holy Smut! Another Goode brother to fall in love with! Caleb and Briar are going through struggles with their marriages as well as internally within themselves . Watching them fall in love and accept those pieces of themselves they tried to hide and ignore was beautiful and emotional. I’m not usually one that likes reading about married couples but of course Cate made it lots of fun by bringing in someone from Caleb’s past to spice it up!

Having Dean teach them was so freakin hot!, like be prepared for the spice to be SPICY! Dean was also not without his struggles and seeing both Caleb and Briar step up for him in different ways (let’s not even talk about the stuff with his dad, because that was too much for my heart). The family cameos were lots of fun and I just loved their love!
Stay With Me by Brooke Montgomery

This was a fun small town cowboy romance! I haven’t read the first book but I still really enjoyed this book. I loved the family and the relationship between all the siblings! Not always the thing that I would say is a bookish buzzword for me, but reading this reminds me how much I do like mutal pining! Seeing Tripp and Magnolia interact with each other while knowing they both like each other but the other one doesn’t know. Especially when Landon get involved and flaunting his friendship with her! The surprise pregnancy trope is one that is not for me but I did think Montgomery did a good job with this and love the protectiveness over a baby that isn’t his!

There were so many pop culture references that made it so fun! There was so many elements to this story, heartbreak, spice, strong family relationships and a bit of suspense! It definitely had me flying through the story and wanting to read the other books written by Montgomery!

I listened to this as an audiobook and thought the narrators did a fantastic job. I am such a fan of Aiden Snow. I think this was my first time with Savannah Peachwood but enjoyed her as well. The boys were so swoony and hearing “knock me up cowboy” was probably the best part! I don’t think it would have hit as well if I just read the words!
The Rebel by Marni Mann

To no surprise Marni did it again with another steamy story following another Spade boy! And taking place in Banff was another sign from the cosmos that I need to visit there!

We did not have to wait very long before things heated up between Cooper and Rowan after getting stranded due to a snowstorm. Three nights of rolling in the sheets sure had me feeling things as well. The progression of their relationship along with the secrets and warring families was just so fun! One thing I love about Manns books is all the family members that make appearance and their personalities! The family dynamics in this one were such a good time. But I was not prepared for that ending.

I am so happy I was given the opportunity to listen to the book because it is so steamy and my ears appreciated it greatly! The narrators did a fantastic job with not only telling the story but making me feel the feels.
Fated to the Alien Hunter by Erin Hale

fast-paced

A fun, fast paced continuation of the series that pulls you into the world and story and has fated mates between a swoony alien warrior and a strong determined female human!

Zydon is such a broody hero that is just as stubborn as the strong heroine, Remi. I like how he watches her from afar but won’t let himself consider it at first because he doesn’t believe the goodness chose anyone for him. Reni was just as stubborn with the topic of mates, but I love that because it wasn’t so insta-love which it can be with dates mates. I loved how Remi held her own and was determined to learn to be a warrior.

Although I would have loved to really dive into so much more world building because that’s one of my favorite things, I was happy we got to meet more of the characters and learn some more about the world!
