I think i just OD'd on this series and author - too much, too fast. Dont get me wrong its good! And i might return to it later, but im not the biggest fan of mpreg (especially when it's been going on for fucking ever / multiple books) and again, i just OD'd on this author at the moment.

Yeah im just skimming at this point. Im not really connecting with the characters. I feel like we dont really know anything about them - to be fair, i pribably should have read the first two books of the series but isnt there anything new to learn about the characters to help us connect with them during  these first 85 pages? Geez, its like pulling teeth...

Also, side rage, fuck Abel for abandoning and not trusting Damon!

Holy flipping shit!! This was AMAZING! I cannot wait until the second/ final book in September 2024!! This is a duology and it ends on a spicy and very exciting yet satisfying cliff hanger!

I also like that the spice was there (and on fire!) but it wasnt over the top or rushed just because there are 4 peeps. The plot still had enough room to plot and we got to know the characters a good deal! The story telling and relationship development doesn't feel rushed which is impressive with 4 MCs.

Also i had my doubts about how exciting this plot was gonna be and thought id be reading mostly for the spice but boy was I wrong - and glad of it lol enjoy friends! This is a special one :)

*sigh* sorry this gotta be a DNF. Harrison being a stickler about the cheating is kind of putting a damper on things. Like come on ppl we all know college is a joke. I dont really want to see a likable MC struggle right now bc his BF has pointless "morals" around cheating in college.

Also his reaction to the twin thing was a bit of an overeaction.

THIS was amazing - this book is everything! 500 pages just flew by with their beautiful, intentional words. The pacing was spot on and their romance was of of the best slow burns ive ever read.

The MCs connection is so profound, pure, and rich. This soothed my soul and made me feel so grounded for some reason. I loved their love and honesty. I'm gonna miss the fuck out of this couple and I'm setting a reminder to reread this again. Cal's utter devotion to Dawson made me feel safe and calm too while reading this 💜

I know im just gushing at this point but I can't stop! Do yourself a favor and read this - it's definitely not overhyped :)

This one was a bit hard for me to rate. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book. But, in the preface, the author seems overly concerned with trying to make Sully relatable and sympathetic because he's a psychopath, but honestly, i think they should have been more concerned with making Malik be less of a jerk. I had a tough time liking Malik. He kept pushing away Sully and he spent like 20 years feeling guilty and withholding truths and affection from Sully. But then when he decided to let himself bond with Sully, Malik changed the rules of their relationship overnight and seemed upset that Sully struggled with that.

It also rubbed me the wrong way that Malik kept almost holding Sullys psychopathy against him even tho he KNEW what he was getting into - he came off as dismissive when Sully was trying to express his version of love to Malik several times - like you know his feelings are going to look different towards you so why dismiss them altogether?!? He acts like Sully cant be hurt sometimes or feel at all which is kind of sad.

It just didnt seem fair and kind of sad that their whole relationship seemed controlled by Malik who quite frankly had the biggest and most hypocritical stick up his ass. I really liked Sully and his adorable love of disco - I've been listening to the Cannons too now lol

This is a slow burn and not much plot outside of their relationship which got slightly tiring and, after reading the first book and learning about their organization, i was looking forward to seeing how they function more and facing external enemies.

Ooooooweee this was delightfully dark *blush* - LOVED this and just what i needed - read the trigger warnings and hang on for the ride lol :)

These are two MCs with dark, pain filled pasts and i love how Angel finds comfort in Luca slowly but surely. I teared up when i heard Angels backstory for sure. And i really LOVED when Lucas's rage came out and he was determined to keep getting stronger - cuz he sure as hell was tough as nails to keep living thro what he did. I really appreciated how these characters were written and getting to know them

Super excited to read the rest of the series.

P.s. for those who need to know (bc i need to for sure), the dog does NOT die - Cleo is badass and is the best doggo

Spice: 5/5 - these two were fucking electric together
Strict roles
NOT a bi-awakening as it states, just one of the MCs first time in a queer relationship, but this story did not disappoint regardless 💜💜

I LOVED this - i love how to two MCs come together and understand each other and loved their enemies to lovers dynamic - what a smash hehe

Also for the first time, a miscommunication trope didnt bother me! The characters miscommunications actually fit so well with their personalities that i dont even know if i would qualify this as a trope because it just seemed like part of the enemies theme instead. And it was honestly super adorable when one MC got pouty or petulant when they wanted attention lol

And once they started opening up to each other my heart melted for these two and they became so strong for each other and so supportive! Enjoy friends!

Ok this is like a solid 3 or 3.5, which is kind of low for me

The throuple was hot and overall it was fun read! but it started feeling a bit flat towards the end with all the borderline repetative dialogue that didnt flow as well as it could. I totally get why other reviewers have commented something like "no one talks like this" lol. And if i had a nickle for everytime Ez said a variation of "ok heres how its gonna go down", well...lol dont get me wrong, i liked his top energy but i found myself chuckling after he said it for the nth time.

I know not to expect a big plot with this author but i do wish there was something a little more there. Still a fun read if you're bored and wanna read some MMM smut :) the sex scenes (and there were plenty) were a fun time!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Im always very skeptical when one of the MCs is a cop (bc ACAB) but i like that the author doesnt shy away from letting him be an asshole at the beginning and is transparent that way. I actually really liked the character development of Takoda!

This was slightly lower on the spice (like a 2.5 out of 5) but still very fun and considering Charlie's overall lack of experience, im glad the author didnt rush or force anything just for smuts sake (lol). Their relationship is sweet and i really like their honesty and banter.

I also appreciate that the author actually let Charlie be himself throughout the entire book! Ive read some other books where the MC has OCD or other issues and after the introduction of them, it's like their issues are completely forgotten once the romance starts and they can magically let all their issues go bc they found "the one" - unrealistic lol

Anyway, this is a great one, enjoy!
