[ESP] Primera lectura de este 2022, y debido a que tenía esta novela gráfica/cómic desde hacía un tiempo, ya iba siendo hora.

Es una historia sencilla, nada del otro mundo, pero la manera que tiene de ser contada, aunque a veces algo caótica (en serio, entre los vlogs del protagonista, lo rápido que avanzaba en el tiempo...) le da cierto encanto. Sin embargo, esto mismo me parece una carga para disfrutarlo al máximo, o al menos para mi. Igual esto se debe a que en su momento fue un webcomic, pero no impide leerlo de principio a fin.

Perfecto para quien quiera alto tierno, tranquilo, con un dibujo precioso y empezar con buen pie este 2022.

[ENG] 2022 first read, and because I had this graphic novel/comic for a while, it was the perfect way to start the year.

It is a simple story, nothing from the other world, but the way it has to be told, although sometimes somewhat chaotic (seriously, among the protagonist's vlogs, how fast it was advancing in time...) gives it some charm. Still, it is also a burden for enjoying it, or at least that was my case. Perhaps this happened because it was a webcomic, but it does not prevent you from reading it from start to finish.

Perfect for those who want light reading and a beautiful drawing to start with the right foot this 2022.

Ideas muy interesantes, pero no termina de engancharme para que continúe leyendo. Me sucede igual que con Jupiter’s Legacy y quizás el ver tantas similitudes y nada más que me incite a quedarme con estas novelas gráficas me hace ver que igual esto no es para mi. Saga cuenta con un arte parecido (a veces demasiado gráfico) pero con una historia, mundo y personajes bastantes más carismáticos de lo que Mark Millar es capaz de crear.

Exciting ideas, but don't finish hooking me up to keep reading. It happens to me just like Jupiter's Legacy, and perhaps seeing so many similarities and nothing else that encourages me to stay with these graphic novels makes me see that the same is not for me. Saga has a similar art (sometimes too graphic), but with a story, world and characters far more charismatic than Mark Millar can create.

Incluso cuando el argumento de la impresión de empezar en las últimas páginas, es una manera interesante de conocer mejor los Siete Reinos. No es una lectura perfecta, tampoco sus personajes. En más de una ocasión me he parado a pensar cosas del tipo “¿Por qué no sabemos más sobre estos personajes y lugares?” (algo recurrente en bastantes lecturas mías), pero teniendo en cuenta que es el primero de la saga, aún hay mucho que explorar.

- ¿Lo mejor? Me encanta cómo muestra los personajes, con todas sus cosas buenas y sus cosas malas (algunos son peores, pero ese es un debate en el que no entraré). El cómo introduce la magia, los clanes y otras culturas, junto al uso que se le da la magia.
- ¿Lo peor? Igual se pasa demasiado tiempo preparando la trama, y aunque desde el principio se sabe cuándo pasará algo gordo, hay que tragarse muchas páginas antes y a veces da la impresión de ser algo lento.
- Recomendado para cualquiera que busque un mundo fantástico elaborado y variedad de personajes, con algo de romance y tramas políticas.

Even when the plot seems to begin in the last pages, this is an exciting way to know more about the Seven Realms. It is not a perfect reading, nor is it its characters. Usually, I was thinking things like "Why do we not know more about these characters and places?" (something recurring in quite a few readings from me), but given that it is the first in the series, there is still much to explore.

- The best? I love how the author shows the characters, with all their good things and their evil things (some are worse, but that's a debate I won't go into). But also how the magic, clans and other cultures are introduced, plus how they picture wizards in this world.
- The worst? Too much time is spent preparing the plot, and although you know from the beginning when something BIG will happen, you have to read to reach that point. Things happen, but sometimes it feels slow-pacing.
- I recommended it for anyone looking for a fantastic and elaborate world elaborate with lot's of characters, with some romance and political storylines.

Rápido de leer e intenso, I Knew Him ofrece diferentes visiones que suelen ser pasadas por alto: - -

- bifobia (de varios personajes en rango, edad, genero y sexualidad)
- relaciones personales donde no tiene que existir drama sino apoyo y comunicación (raro de ver hoy en día)
- y personajes adultos LGTB que son felices con su pareja y no acaban amargados por una vida incompleta.

Quick to read and intense, I Knew Him offers different visions that are often overlooked:

- biphobia (of various characters from different ages, genders and sexualities)
- personal relationships where there doesn't have to be drama but support and communication (rare to see nowadays)
- and adult LGBT characters who are happy with their partner and don't end up bitter about an incomplete life.

Corto pero perfecto para calentarte el corazón con el universo de Avatar.

Oh, el viaje a París <3 Me ha encantado que introdujera diálogos en francés (y comprobar que no estoy tan oxidado como pensaba), fáciles de entender incluso para la persona que no sepa el idioma.

Heartstopper 3 sigue la línea de los anteriores, aunque la intensidad va en aumento con ciertos temas que vemos venir desde hace bastante. Cabe decir que adoro la relación de Nick y Charlie (siempre digo lo mismo, lo sé), pero he disfrutado muchísimo al ver a otros personajes, en especial a sus amistades (ay Aled!) y lo diversas que son (Tara y Darcy son LO MÁS). De hecho, Oseman solo necesita un par de pinceladas para definir a los secundarios, dándoles una personalidad que aporta más variedad en la historia.

Cómo último, apruebo cuando se habla de ansiedad y todo tipo de enfermedades mentales. ¡A ver si se conciencia el universo de lo importantes que son!

Oh, the trip to Paris <3 I love who they introduce a few dialogues in French (and be aware that I'm not that rusty as I thought!). Don't worry, they are easy to understand, even if you don't know anything in this language.

Heartstopper 3 follows the same storyline as the previous one, but the intensity rise with something that was happening for a long time. Yeah, I still love Nick/Charlie relationship, but I really enjoy the other characters, especially the friends (ALED ;_;) and how diverse they are (Tara/Darcy RULES). In fact, Oseman only needs a few things to show and define the secondary characters, given them a personality that enhances the story.

Last, but not less important, I highly approve of when a book introduces anxiety and mental health. Hope that the rest of the world open their eyes and see how important they are!

✅ ⚡️ The art is so simple but at the same time, it's ADORABLE. Helps a lot to tell the story about Nick/Charlie and focus on them and a few characters that deserve mentioning (like Oliver ;__; sweet Oliver).
✅ ⚡️ The story is not new, but the classical "friends to lovers" works so really well that makes you smile more than you can imagine.
✅ ⚡️ Without telling spoilers, I love how Alice Oseman shows as different types of sexual orientations >3 That's the world she created, and sometimes it's the world that we could have.
✅ ⚡️ RECOMMENDED IF you are looking for some light reading <3 Totally worth it!

✅ ⚡️ El arte es tan sencillo, pero al mismo tiempo es ADORABLE. Ayuda mucho para contar la historia de Nich/Charlie y centrarse en ellos y unos pocos personajes a su alrededor que merecen ser mencionados (como Oliver, el dulce Oliver!).
✅ ⚡️ La historia no es nueva, el clásico "amigos a novios" que funciona bien y te hace sonreír más de lo que te imaginas.
✅ ⚡️ Sin contar spoilers , me encanta cómo Alice Oseman muestra distintos tipos de identidades sexuales y de género >3 Es el mundo que ella ha creado y, en el que podríamos vivir.
✅ ⚡️ Recomendado SI buscas una lectura ligera. Merece la pena!
