The entire time reading ‘The Play’ (Hunter and Demi’s book) I had a nagging thought in the back of my head: We need a book for Conor!! At that time I thought Elle Kennedy was done with this series and that was that. So when I heard that we were being Blessed with another book I basically LOST IT!! This book exceeded all my (already high) expectations and more!

Firstly, let’s discuss Conor as we already knew him from previous books. He was such a lovely surprise from what i was expecting. He still has that f*ckboy vibe that we all love but there is so so much more to him than that. He is actually a huge softie with the biggest and kindest heart. I really loved seeing him overcome his insecurities while also helping Taylor do the same. I loved his interactions and the dynamic between him and the rest of the boys, especially with Hunter, and honestly some parts seriously made me tear up!!

Now! Taylor Marsh. I absolutely adored her!!! I was a bit apprehensive because we basically knew nothing about her going in, but my gosh i love her so much. Her story and growth felt so personal to me and I could relate to everything she felt which is clearly a huge reason why I enjoyed reading about her so much.

The only reason I didn’t give this book a 5 star rating is because the conflict did seem a little meh to me. I did like it and i understood why both characters did that they did, but it just felt like they both jumped to conclusions a bit toooo fast, but then again it was their insecurities doing the thinking so it’s really not a huge deal haha.

Overall, Taylor and Conor were so adorable. I loved how they both came together and made the other better while also doing a lot of individual growing and it was beautiful to see how much they loved each other.

I’m really going to miss these books and these characters and now I have an Off Campus/Briar U sized hole in my heart!
