Had to read it to fulfill an inside joke, but I cannot say this experience inspired me to pick up another of Debbie's illustrious novels. A 5/5 in my <3.

Whew, these 179 pages did not go by quickly. Not sure I am the biggest of fans of such reflective, stream-of-consciousness prose after all.

A rather unimpressive and lengthy conclusion to this trilogy. Not surprised by my lack of full enjoyment given that I selected this series for myself in...2016? Perhaps 17-year-old me would have loved it.

Beautiful. Stunning. Eerie in a most gorgeous way. Delightfully, compulsively readable.

Like CMBYN, beautifully written. Unlike CMBYN, lacking sufficiently emotional yearning for my taste. Also, weird age-gap (quite a bit more pronounced than 17x24) relationship...? IDK about it.

Very bizarre. Enjoyed it less the longer it went on. Talking cats, fainting spells, and incest comprise my core memories of this story.

Far more compelling than the first book in the trilogy. Give me a dose of (magic) competition, and I am hooked. Not especially well written or mature, in my opinion, but as a certain friend of mine would say, I had fun.
Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez

Objectively well written with sweeping prose that became tedious at times. Florentino Ariza's "love," to me, displayed a fanatical limerence, instead, for a woman who repeatedly demonstrated disinterest. While I can personally relate to such limerent feelings, I find them misplaced in a so-called romance.
