I got the first issue of this story during Free Comic Book Day (I think so anyway). Groot is one of my favorite characters, so the stakes are not only high for our main characters, but for fans of Groot as well.

Fantastic R-rated Punisher graphic novel. I know the Punisher character has become controversial in some circles, but I feel like the Punisher is a background character in this story. This is a take on the origin story of Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin.

Thought this was a cute paranormal mystery. Hopefully Ellie and Ichabod maintain a platonic relationship throughout this series. Other than that I liked all the characters and I liked how most of the cases had positive endings.

I enjoyed all the characters although I got some of them mixed up.
If you like absurdist fiction, then I think you’ll like this book. Also if you want a good train story, I think you’ll like this as well. This is more of a character study and possible allegory for something I had a hard time grasping or understanding.
