3.25/5. Physical book. I bought this book blind on a trip to B&N with my bestie. I'm into cults and reading about them so I was drawn from the description on the back. The book wasn't so much about the cult or the nitty gritty of it, but it was about a young girl wanting to do right by her god and pastor.

Lacey is faithful and then grossly disillusioned by her "church". The writing was pretty good and the story kept me wanting to read more and more. I would recommend this to a friend. It was more of a middle-of-the-line book for me, but it did have a good ending. If you have read White Oleander, Lacey's mom kind of put me in the mind of Starr, FYI.
