Did not finish book. Stopped at 6%.
For sure not in the right headspace to entertain a book like this. I will come back to it at some point

There were certainly stand out stories I particularly liked the interview with George Orwell and “My evil Mother” as well as the one about the slug and “a dusty lunch”

All in all a good read but it definitely felt like Atwood’s musings with a couple of tie in stories to Nell and Tig, who were sweet but I didn’t find the believablility of them being husband and wife. (I thought for a moment tig was a cat???  It perhaps I’m just stupid)

Def felt like Atwood’s publishers were like hey got any stories at the moment and she just sent them without editing them and they chucked them all together and called it an anthology.

At the same time my best work is never going to half as good as Atwood’s simple “musings”. All in all some enjoyable writing I think you’ve just gotta see it as they’re all separate rather than trying to make any sense of them together.
