This book has good pacing, motifs, language, and character development. Evelyn is a manipulative, cunning woman that the audience oddly takes a liking to. As she tells her story, those traits don’t go away throughout her story, but as she comes to realize that her actions affect those who she loves most, it’s clear she does wish she has more time to redeem herself, even though she claims to have no regrets. This book did make me cry to see good people dying at young ages, and I really recommend it! Also, the LGBTQ+ representation was perfect.

I really did enjoy this book, there was just nothing extremely special about it. I had a good time while reading it but I obviously predicted the entire thing and what not but it’s fun!

This was incredible! I loved the wit in the writing and the realness to it all- the way Alex speaks is raw and relatable. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait for there to be a movie made about this (??)
