Thanks Angry Robot for the early copy!
I was really excited to start this as I'm a big fan of Bluebird. I was instantly hooked and I flew through it pretty quickly. I really enjoyed that every character was morally gray and I liked the aspects of the world building.
What kept this from being a 5 star read is it just felt so rushed. I would have liked to see her interact more with Reya and Adrius. Also I found myself frustrated with Kazans impulsiveness because of how rushed the plot felt.
That being said I still really enjoyed the story and do recommend it to anyone wanting a good grimdark vampire book.

This was just a lot of fun. I didn't like it quite as much as the first one. The chemistry took longer than I liked and it was slightly choppy in places but overall I really enjoyed this!

This is by far one of the most unique books I've read. It was a fun concept and very silly. Unfortunately a lot of this book was just describing stuff in this universe and I would have liked it to be a bit more plot heavy.

I liked this one even better than the first. This one felt much less rushed and it really let me sink into the world. I'm excited to start the final installment

I have very mixed feelings on this book. I think I would have liked it much better back when it first came out but now a lot of it feels extremely dated.
I was interested in the story but this needed a much harsher editor as a lot of it was really drawn out and redundant.
The spicy scenes were really glossed over and I hated that the main character kept talking about how petite she is.

This was a cute story that for the most part of enjoyed. I don't know if it was due to the audiobook or the text itself but I didn't think there was a distinct enough difference between the two characters. They felt extremely similar. I'd recommend it to others but it's nothing revolutionary

Thank you Angry Robot for the early copy! Here is my honest review!
This book was super weird and I loved every moment. Having read the description it still didn't go the way I expected. I was consistently surprised by the book and I flew through it in two days because I just wanted to know what happened next.
What really makes this book so special is the characters. They just feel so real. So much thought was put into each one even if they barely had any screen time. The characters were diverse in a myriad of ways and that really helped the realistic feeling.
The sci-fi elements of this futuristic world were blended in so seamlessly, like of course the main character records everything with their contact lenses. It felt like it could take place in the near future honestly.
Somehow, despite this book being fairly action packed it still maintained a cozy feel, largely because so much of it focused on the interactions of Denver as xe builds relationships with the other characters.
