The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley

This ending was so strategically and carefully written - I was engrossed the more I got into the book. Very good!!
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

This wasn’t as fast paced as I would have liked it to be BUT I became so attached to the main character. It was like growing up alongside of her. I’ll miss her. Goodbye, Francie ❤️
A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

I have LOVED Shari’s writing style. Each book is filled with quick thrills and crazy turns. Every time I pick up one of her books, I can’t put it down. I always finish them in a day or two!
Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals by Rachel Hollis
4.0
Aside from all of the Rachel Hollis drama, there is some good nuggets in this book. I took them! But, a lot of what she says in her books is hard to take seriously and genuinely when her actions outside of the book don’t match up. So, this book was book in its golden nuggets however, I wouldn’t buy it again if I had the chance because I believe in supporting people who are truly kind, humble, and don’t flaunt their privilege.
When No One Is Watching by Alyssa Cole

I really loved the concept of the book but the pacing was really off. The ending happened all at once and everything leading up to it was so slow. At one point, I almost stopped reading but I’m glad I didn’t! A great story - just wish the pace was better!
Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell

When I say this was the best book I have read in a LONG time. HOLY COW. I can’t even put into words how suspenseful and twisted this book was!!!
A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

This was such a sweet sweet story. I cried, I laughed, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
The End of Her by Shari Lapena

I am an avid lover of Shari’s books! So fast paced and the thrills are so well written! Sad I’m almost through most of her books. This one had a few twists and turns and I finished it in like 2 days.
