This was 3.5 "Get in the car Elizabeth" stars. Ooof! That line will always be iconic. Lives were changed then, lives were changed now.

Every time Roman got jealous, I giggled. 

Now, what the hell was that cliffhanger? 😭

3.5 stars 🌟 the stakes should have been higher, her character should have been better developed and Dak should have grovelled a whole lot more.

4.25 stars 🌟 witty, observatory and entertaining. No one writes like McEwan. 

I loved him while reading Atonement. I loved him when reading 'On chesil beach.' I adore him now.  I mean, who else would write a whole thriller/comedy from the point of view of an unborn baby still in their mother's womb? 

Just sheer brilliance!

Started off well but it kind of tapered off by the end

No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't connect to the two of them as a couple.🫠

Every story. Every vivid detail. Every single emotion. Every damn page. Maggie is a brilliant storyteller. This is now my third book by her and I can now confidently say, I will write every single thing she writes. 

I love it when novelists write memoirs because they paint pictures so vivid that it takes quite an effort to drag you out of the world that they just immersed you in.

This was freaking breathtaking. It was deep. I am traumatized and intrigued!

My heart has been dipped in a vat of chocolate. This story was comfort.

I liked her. She was brave after going through so much.

I think this story could have been better executed. 

4.75 🌶️🌶️🌶️ ugh so freaking hot!!! Turns out Finn the fisherman was really into bondage. And Harlow was amazing 😍. I'm loving the found family in this series. Why did I wait so long before I picked this series up????
