it's not the type of genre i usually read but from my point of view this was actually good! the details astounded me idk how but dan brown definitely did a deeeep thorough research for the symbolism, architecture, and all facts written. hard to explain the book without giving spoilers but if you ever consider reading one dan brown's books, let it be this one!

i've watched the movie after and honestly... i'm surprised how it's the exact same, like that's just literally what's on my mind when i was reading it???? i probably would 't have the time to readb his other books so i'll just watch the movies :D

if a man ever dedicates whole journal filled with his thoughts—which is all me, and love confessions, i would never ask for anything else. i'm a words of affirmation girl and i LIVE for this. in fact, i LIVE FOR JACOB!!! i would protect this man at all cost. i can't even say anything else except that i loved this book so, so, much. abby jimenez nailed all the representations, especially with anxiety. that moment where briana made sure to tell jacob about the roada and other information, even the most unimportant details, before he come over? some might think it's overbearing, it's troublesome, but jacob's character makes me feel seen. i adore briana for treating him, and everyone actually, in the most caring way. she puts up a sign for her brother, that's the big sister love i like to see!!

does a fake dating romance where they love each other but neither would say it first frustats me? yes. will i read more of it anyway? every. single. time.

ugh second chance romance you will always be my favorite! i feel a lot of emotions reading this, how it shows us that a real relationship will face tough times. it's how both sides handled it, it's how both sides decide if they want to fight together or not. i loved how beautifully written yasmen's story is: how she handled grief with the struggle of being a mom, a wife, a woman.

honestly? most times i don't like deja for blaming yas despite understanding her struggles. i'm glad josiah was the one to do something about it. but the truth is, that's what a mom-daughter relationship is like. kaseem on the other hand is such a sweeet boy he's a mamas boy and we love to see it <3

this one's for all the girlies who loved groveling bc shahzad did it SO. PHENOMENALLY!! you will get chapterSSS of him pining for her. though our tattooed soft-hearted grump has a complex personality but he still managed to grow and became the man he knows nyla deserves. oh, and he cooks. breakfast, lunch, dinner. all for her.

and as for nyla, the ambitious fashionista barbie with a strong soul, all i want to do is wrap her in a hug every time she shows her vulnerability and the good thing is shahzad was always there to do it first. i love how they both pushed each other to heal and to be better. they love each other wholeheartedly even through the tough times. this book perfectly blends angst and heartwarming romance with characters that you can't help but fall in love with (kenbarbie energy fr!! đź©·)

thank you to the author for the arc <3

i'm not even joking when i say movie producers call julie soto's agent RIGHT NOW for movie adaptation license. this is what i imagine when i think of books that feels like early 2000s romcom movies. it was hot, it was funny, it was the perfect portion of drama and comedy!! amalliot's bickering and banters got me cackling yet the second chance romance angst makes me ache sooo bad. i love it when the grump in grumpysunshine is the type of person who never loves anyone before her and can't love anyone else after her *screaming*

ps. the myth is right after all, amaryllis do fell in love with the man who loved flowers ;)
pps. i need to see elliot's tattoos.

ladies and gentlemen, jasper vale has officially claimed the top spot on the hottest book boyfriend chart this week !!!

this book got me in my feels and i realized marriage by accident / convenience might be one of my favorite tropes. every time jasper refers to eloise as "my wife" i went crazy. when he calls her "angel" i went crazy. when he visited her at work just to let her know he's going somewhere and kisses her forehead before leaving I WENT CRAZY. all i can say is i fell in love with jasper at first "eight. count again." that line is iconic the man knows what he's doing!! i also notice that this series has a plot pattern lol at certain percentage i know something dramatic would happen, but overall i loved this book and their a-frame cabin <3

guys i think i love shy golden retriever men......

russ 'muffin' callaghan gagged me every time he talks like babe who teach you to be that hot awkward flirt damn!! (ik it's JJ but still) i love love love how affirmative he is and he calls her sweetheart?!?! i'm a woa girlie so... that explains enough. also @ hannah grace if you're reading this what engineering does russ take exactly i need to know if he's even more hotter than he already is. now now, aurora roberts is mE u guys i'm not even joking she is so relatable and she's the overthinker who gets excited in everything and wanting to put all the love they have in one person but very picky because they don't want to heart broken? ME. i'm satisfied with the ending after all the bonding over daddy issues they did at camp lol wishing we could get more scenes of them with the camp kids!
