mers being genderless felt like a micro aggression 😭😭i cannot describe it. no hate to the author i’m sure he had the best intentions. the whole book was pretty cringy and i hate when a romcom has like a sad bittersweet ending. logically it is the ending that makes sense but it felt like a waste of my twice a year romance read. i loved that sean was a bear❤️more hairy gay man love interests in books. the whole mer system was poorly written and like took me out of the story to be honest. if i cringe at a book i am not invested 2.25 stars. oh also kavya was the most poc girl best friend side character in the world. even she knew she was.
