Jackie Morris' illustrations are simply beautiful and compliment her lyrical writing perfectly.

This is definitely a book for fans of slasher movies. There's so many references, I probably missed a bunch.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! It took over my brain at time. I feel some lines are repeated a bit too often and I'd love to know how many times the word 'pack' is used but I loved it so so much. I need to immediately buy the second in the series!

I actually have the Folio Society edition that I found second-hand. Really enjoyed the illustrations by Quentin Blake.

The main character annoyed me a bit with the repetitiveness of the inner monologue but otherwise, really enjoyed it.

This is all about Jackie Morris' beautiful watercolour paintings of the title's Otter. I'll be collecting all the accordion books because they're just gorgeous!
