Trillian is one of the most underrated characters in this series. Also might be my favourite of the five??

Absolutely LOVED this bizarre surreal collection of madness and what felt like psychosis. Absolutely worth the hype I will be reading again and reading more of Chung’s work for SURE.

Where do I start???? I thoroughly enjoyed it I think, and I loved the way it was laid out (and also read in the audiobook version) through museum guides, artefacts, and letters as well as other means. It had the same sort of feeling of The Handmaid’s Tale: that sort of grim aha imagine but the opposite but also very realistic?

This was so so big and so so long. I loved it but it took me a long time to get through. I think I would have rated it higher had I not already read Piranessi which was so surreal and fantastic. Still an amazing amount of detail and lore put into it which I always appreciate.

This is hard because I LOVE Medea and I love every translation I’ve ever read but there was just a few things missing for me in this one that I loved so deeply about others I’ve read.

Absolutely beautiful. Slow paced but in the most delicious and comforting way. Something to be savoured and come back to again and again.
