This wrapped up everything in a very nice bow. Everything had a purpose a reason and the story continued to unravel as we move through. Really enjoyed this trilogy

I was unsure how I was feeling in the first one, but the second book of this trilogy has won me over. This was so good to me, I am a sucker for a political battle and this was such a good one. I thought I would feel weird with
Kelsier being gone
but the other characters really make up for it in their own stores. Plus, the growth Elend gets is amazing. Rin was a little annoying in this but due to the betrayal she faced I’ll let it go. Ugh just such a good read to me!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a magical hall mark movie, like felt like I stepped into the pages of this book. This is my first Ashley Poston book and I was not disappointed. It just read so beautifully and vivid as these 2 characters were stuck in life by heartbreak but decided to turn the page in their lives together.

This was a dark romance for sure. Had his romantic side that was sweet but also was ruthless when it to protecting his family or girl. Definitely was a good read nothing too special but was a good read you like dark romance.

I’m starting my journey into the Cosmere and this was a good one. Slow in the beginning but really laid the foundations for the magic and characters. Even in the slow parts I still enjoyed it, this story unraveled well and had several twist I didn’t forbsee! I am excited to start the next one

Another hilarious romance! Super quick but good and the spice scenes are always great! Wasn’t as good as the first one tome though, im really excited for the next story as Dante needs his mate.

Ugh…. I don’t even know where to start. I loved this book, I finished this in one day cause everything just kept happening. Mercy, you were so strong for this family and you just wanted the best for your nephew and son. I balled my eyes out at so many points of this book. I just wanted this happy ending that never came, there is no light at the end of the rainbow. Everyone in life has choices, the characters in this book chose wrong everytime but I understood why they did (sometimes) but this led for an emotional journey that I will never forget about.

This is a southern love story. Jaine went through so much but she found love at the end. The writing style of this made this such a hard read, but this was good. The scenes with Tea Cake and the hurricane scene made the book better.

This book destroyed me emotionally and put me back together in 612 pages. Misaki was such a multi layered character. She was a mother struggling with motherhood, a wife forced to comply with tradition, a swordswoman forced to retire for her other 2 roles. This book had a slow start, but when it picked up, it moved so fast and was so action packed. The dual points of view offered insight into both characters which made this interesting from the jump. The description of the fighting scenes was vividly detailed. I felt myself holding my breath during some of these intense scenes. We also get some major character growth from the one I hated at first. I also believe this book has a satisfying ending, despite it not being the war and violence as I originally wanted lol. If you are a fan of high fantasy books, I would definitely encourage you to give this a try.
