A crazy end to this story, it only makes sense how it ended up it hurts to lose these characters. My favorite was still the first book in the trilogy but I still loved them all.
This book tore me apart and put me back together. At some parts, I had to throw my kindle across the room cause I was stressed, other time I was grinning so wide. This was everything to me, just everything. It’s dark but know their is a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel. Iris and August deserve their happy ending.
I loved the mystery behind this book and definitely didn’t expect the twist. But I couldn’t stand Bel in her annoying teenage angst, it made sense but made her so annoying. Loved Carter and Ash way more wish we had more of them!
This was honestly one of the most realistic and understandable romances ever. How the characters ended up together and started this friendship bonding over their trauma. It bloomed to an amazing best friendship and eventually romance. These characters were opposites but they fit so well together and they were understood by their partner.
“But I do not hesitate to say that I value the lives of my people far more than I have ever valued you”
Mannn my girl Rin was down bad in this one. Grieving and addicted made it horrible for her. I couldn’t stand her decisions in the beginning and I’m her biggest supporter. Then mid way she turned around and got it all the way together. I will always ride for her.
I can’t get enough of the Poppy Wars!! Like so so so good and even though there is so much happening , every location, person and battle is explained and fleshed out.
I was so geeked when Rin and Nezha were on the same side cause they literally seemed like the perfect fighting pair. The best enemies to lovers, but they were always destined to be enemies. R.I.P the rest of the Cike, I’ll miss Ramsa’s poop bombs😢😢
This one had me desperately trying to understand what was happening. Like I didn’t expect it and I was having to think to myself about what was really going on. I listened to it on audiobook which isn’t my favorite medium but I’m glad I did cause the narrator really made me feel all the tense moments.
This book was good to me! They had a strong connection that started with a little quid pro quo but in while they are surviving they fall in love. The spicy scenes was average to me as well!
