It’s realistic I suppose. It may just have been the depressing moment of my life when I started this book. It just felt exhausting to me and I ultimately didn’t finish reading it. It’s had good representation. I just didn’t feel all that attached to the characters. All of the therapy and regurgitation of emotions was important for the character but really a chore to read I think. I dunno. Could be it’s a perfect book for someone else.
