Margaret Atwood is a graceful literary genius. I regret letting this book sit on my shelf for so long.

And yes, I was in the minority to haven't read this and watched the movie. Yet. I will soon.

This is my third Chuck Palahniuk and I can vouch that the guy is a complete f*ck up.

First half of it was okay. Steady pace of build-up. But what torn me apart what that last part. I'm wrecked. My heart is just so heartbroken. Ugh.

Currently I'm on a Stoic journey, reading every books that is about Stoicism. But this one came a bit empty handed, your typical self-help structure. I don't need that. There were some interesting parts but overall the author's words were more like a half empty glass of water than a half full one.

Will try to read Ego is The Enemy and The Obstacle is The Way instead of this.

Don't get me wrong. I love her works as a singer, songwriter, & musician. But this? I found nothing extraordinary here. At least nothing I haven't heard from her albums.

I guess it's just not for me. Though I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her voice read over some ambient background music.
