Diary by Chuck Palahniuk
DNF.
I'd like to think there's something wrong with me. Ok, yes. I think it's just me. I really wanted to concentrate on the story but somehow got too distracted. Would give it another read.

DNF.
Reasons why I stop reading YA:
- Underdog female protagonist
- Mysterious/unavailable/doesn't-know-how-to-communicate-but-kisses-like-a-porn-star cute guy
- A cool and pretty-that's-everything-not-like-the-protagonist best friend
- A second guy who's-okay-and-not-that-cute-but-at-least-part-of-the-football-team comes along which will be used by the protagonist as a rebound to forget the cool unavailable cute guy or make him jealous
- Everybody's cool and famous except the protagonist
- Unavailable parent/s
- Bullies
I picked this up 'cause I wanted something light after Palahniuk. Turns out I still couldn't stand YA.
