If He Had Been with Me by Laura Nowlin
4.0
The writing style is a bit strange at some parts. And the timeline a bit confusing but I loved the story!
The end is quite heavy, tho
Proper review coming soon!

Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole

Thank you to NetGalley and Penn Cole, who gave me an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
I hardly put the book away, as I enjoyed the read. Diem is a fantastic character, going through a lot. I love sassy characters, especially when they can put on a good fight. And she can; she does. Her actions are reasonable, and I had one or two times where I really laughed out loud.

Did I Mention I Love You? by Estelle Maskame

As I really loved and enjoyed the book during my first as well as the second read, I mostly have two sides here.
My subjective fangirl loves and encourages them.
My objective Me sees it on a whole other level. As it indeed contains a toxic relationship and betrayal at the very least. And I see both of the characters as very young indeed.
The drama at the very end.. Can be a lot.
But the for me more important points are, that
One, they're not blood-related and should be free to be together.
Second, (as one who read all 4 books) I think that it wouldn't have been a bad idea, to end the story with this first and only - mayyybe Tyler's pov is fine, tho, but tells a lot which gets already told here - book.
