Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

This was the most beautiful piece of art I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
The writing alone was gorgeous and captivating, and the story and world building was fantastic.
I feel like I could write about it for hours. The ending of book one totally shocked me! Book two was even better. I underlined so many quotes so I can go back and reread them later. I will definitely be rereading the series again, likely more than once.
I will read every book she has ever written and will ever write. Forever.
So good. Seriously. Move it to the top of your TBR, and READ IT.

Loved this! I was skeptical when I first started because it's written in first person, and I'm usually not a fan of first person perspective, but it sucked me in quickly. I devoured it in three days, and I just purchased Kiss of the Selkie. Very excited to begin!

As with the last, this book sucked me in! Such a unique retelling that weaves original tidbits into a totally new story. The slow burn makes it impossible to put down! Normally, I read series, but I'm liking these standalone stories that exist in the same world but show a new part of it and new characters. Now I have to decide which to read next!

Just like the Wolf and the Selkie books, this was absolutely amazing. Might be my favorite of the first 3. Can't wait to read the next two!
