Most of these writings are from the 70s, and this edition has some updates from the 80s. Le Guin is excellent as a writer but in this does come off sometimes as pompous or lacking in knowledge, but I have the gift of looking back at 50y of social movements changing things since the writings were made.

anyway this books has some real good essays in it, and I made a lot of notes. I would read it again, and certainly a few of the essays I will read more than once again.
