I really wanted to like this, given the topic and the author. But for me, this just wasn't it.

The topic of the book is great but my god the writing is absolutely horrendous. There are enough named individuals to be akin to a Yellow Pages and the pacing is like wading through frozen treacle. It's such a shame as this topic needed some light and it did it so badly.
