The No-Show by Beth O'Leary

I started the book, got through the set-up, then really just wanted to know the ending. So I read some reviews that mentioned
“the twist” and understood that there were threads of sexual harassment in the women’s stories,
and that gave me enough information to listen to the final chapters. I’m satisfied with this and don’t care to read the rest of the story. Maybe it’s good, and maybe I’m just not in the mood for this type story, but it was enough for me to read the beginning and then the ending of this book.

I really wasn’t in the mood for Daisy Buchanan’s story nor an alternate ending to The Great Gatsby. Maybe it’s fine, but it’s just not for me.

I didn’t care for the initial setup, and I’m not the target audience. It was a book club selection that didn’t hit the mark.
