This is a powerful story about Tommie Smith and John Carlos and their fight for justice. The story climaxes at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City where Smith and Carlos decided if no one was going to listen to them they would peacefully show their frustrations.
This was a beautifully illustrated graphic novel that tells about an important moment in sports history, US History, Olympic History and World History.
Geared for readers 13-18 years old but as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed it.
