“I’ll always be here to catch you when you fall if you let me.”
“Since when you listen to anyone?”

Great continuation to the first book in the series, Echo of Wings.

The book starts right where the first one ended, continuing to follow the characters from the first book and introducing some new ones. The story is told from three POVs: Lillian, Kian, and Finn.

Once again, I liked Lillian as a main character. She remained strong and interesting, and I enjoyed seeing her become even stronger throughout the book.

Like the previous book, this one was also fast and easy to read, with a well-written and interesting storyline. The pacing was quite fast, and a few times I would have preferred it to be a bit slower.

There was a lot happening, with no dull moments. The world seemed interesting, and I loved learning more about it. I would love to learn more about the dragons; they seemed intriguing and gave me some Fourth Wing vibes.

Can’t wait to read more!

“What is bound by love, only death can undo.”
“You’re like the air I breathe. I can’t function without you.”

Fast and easy to read fantasy book filled with magic, deadly trials, valkyries, and dragons.

I liked Lillian as the FMC. She was fierce and stabby, and even though she was dying, she didn’t let that slow her down.

There were a lot of things happening and multiple plot twists. Some of the twists were quite easy to guess, but it didn’t take away from the reading experience.

The pacing was fast, and there were a few moments when I wished it had been a bit slower to allow more time for explanations. I would have loved to see more world-building and learn about the magic system, as both seemed interesting.

I’m interested to see where the story goes next!

The idea of the book sounded great, but unfortunately, the writing style wasn’t for me.

Fast paced serial killer romance where the FMC is a medical examiner and the MMC a crime investigation journalist.

The FMC and MMC were both chaotic but their relationship worked well together. I liked the tension and slow burn between them.

It took me a while to get into the story because the beginning was slower paced, but after that the plot got more interesting and kept me engaged and guessing what was going to happen. I’m interested to see where the story goes next.

There were some writing choices that I wasn’t a huge fan of, for example the amount of inner monologue instead of dialogue, but other than that I liked the book.

“Welcome all of you depraved f*ckers, To Idée Fixe! The place where all your dreams and fantasies come true!”
“Don’t pray for God, when the Devil is staring back at you.”

Short and spicy novella with a fetish rave, a bunch of kinks, and a masked MMC.

I loved this book and would love to read more! I couldn’t put it down and devoured it in one sitting. The only problem was that it was so short.

I haven’t read any other books by the author before, but after this, I definitely need more.

“We’re two halves of a cracked mirror, bound by the agony of our shared existence.”
“That’s not a way to treat your brother, princess.”

Short, taboo stalker romance.

I loved the beginning of the book. The tension between Kaiden and Arcane was well-written, and I liked their relationship.

Unfortunately, the middle of the book was a bit meh for me, and I almost DNF'd. Luckily, I decided to push through and continue reading because the book got better again towards the end.

There were some parts that were a bit slow-paced and too descriptive for me. Also, in the middle, I was a bit lost with the plot and what the point of the story was. But both the beginning and the end were great.

Kinky, smutty, dark, and funny, with Halloween slasher vibes and a masked stalker MMC.

I really enjoyed the banter and tension between the FMC, Blair, and MMC, Maddox, and how their relationship developed throughout the book. I also loved how Maddox wasn’t the only crazy and dark one; Blair was also dark and unhinged.

Their story started fifteen years earlier, and the book jumps between that time and the present. I enjoyed how the past and present were woven together and how everything came together in the end.

The storyline was full of twists and turns, and especially towards the end, there were multiple plot twists and revelations that I didn’t see coming.

I need Daddy Maddox in my life 🥵

I listened to this book as an audiobook, narrated by Daphne Fields and Tommy Aguilar. The dual narration worked well with the plot, and overall, I really enjoyed the audiobook version.

An interesting Beauty and the Beast retelling set in Norse mythology.

Great mix of romance, fantasy, and Norse mythology, with high stakes and an emotional journey. Well-written, it kept me hooked from the first page to the end.

Unfortunately, this book wasn’t for me. I couldn’t get into the story and was just confused about what was going on. It felt like I was thrown into the deep end without any explanation or information.

Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing the ARC.

An adventurous YA fantasy novel with a unique magic system.

This is a YA novel, so the characters were quite young. They all had distinctive personalities, and I think that all of them grew up and became more mature throughout the story. Ashlei was a great FMC; she was strong and determined. Some characters, like Aryl, provided more comedic relief.

I loved the magic system and would love to learn more about it. It was unique, with many different types of magic.

Additionally, the world-building was well-written, and the world sounded interesting. The storyline was also compelling, and I enjoyed the adventurous elements.
