I went between being deeply frustrated with these two and absolutely adoring them. Emily Henry did a great job of writing the dynamic that is best friends in a situationship.

it was incredibly meaningful to watch Anne make a home and a family. Anne and Gilbert are an absolute delight and so are the side characters in this book. Miss Cornelia is a fabulous comedic relief ready to proclaim that’s just like a man. My only complaint was the soap opera like storyline with Dick/George Moore but I understand why it was used.

Good information, I was able to pick up a couple of things I’ve tried incorporating into my day

There were Anne of Green Gables references so I was immediately sold but then Fortune does a good job of delivering a beautiful story where two people keep coming back to each other. I also loved the focus on the importance of female friendship.
